Jean Barsness is "forever amazed" by God, and you will be, too, when you read this book. From the Little Saskatchewan farm to Briercrest Bible Institute to Panama, a brief stop in Ecuador, back to Saskatchewan and Briercrest, and then the world ... Jean Reimer Barsness has followed God on a lifelong quest that began when she signed a card at a missions conference, vowing "Anywhere, Anytime, Any Cost." The commitment has indeed been costly, but the satisfaction is deep, and the rewards are eternal.

I'm so honoured to be bringing you Jean's new memoir, Forever Amazed. She was my beloved missions professor at Briercrest College, and it's an privilege to bring her stories, old and new, into print for another generation. May the call to submit to our Lord -- Anywhere, Anytime, Any Cost -- reverberate throughout the nations.
What began on a simple gravel road in rural Saskatchewan became a lifelong journey of saying yes to Jesus—Anywhere, Anytime, Any Cost. In this honest and hope-filled memoir, the author reflects on more than seven decades of following Christ through global ministry, unexpected detours, deep loss, and daily grace. From classrooms to continents, she discovers that God’s purposes unfold one surrendered step at a time. Anywhere invites readers to consider their own path of obedience, courage, and trust—and to marvel at what God can do through even the most fragile clay pots placed in His hands.
Dr. Jean Barsness brings more than a lifetime of global ministry experience to her writing. A career missionary, professor of missions, international trainer, and cofounder of CrossTraining Global, she has served across Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Jean spent over three decades with Avant Ministries, taught for 26 years at Briercrest Bible College, and continues to teach Scripture and encourage Christ followers around the world. She holds an M.A. in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Missiology from Trinity International University. Jean makes her home in Saskatoon, Canada, where she enjoys her blended family of five—with grandchildren and great‑grandchildren who continue to enrich her journey.
